Ax Strength is all about serious fun. This strength and conditioning focused class is designed to push an individual’s metabolic threshold with movements of various intensities while adhering to strength protocols.
Individuals will experience the application of these protocols to build and improve overall strength, stamina, total body balance as well as conditioning. The key component here at AXIOM is the quality of our sessions – we advocate proper lifting form at all times to develop good lifting habits.
With an intimate class setting of only five people per class, we guarantee high quality coaching and ace supervision.

CLASS INTRODUCTION
Our foundation class here at AXIOM is the perfect small group setting that will take functional movements back to basics. After mastering the mechanics, our coaches will ensure consistency in your movements before introducing intensity. If you’re looking to build a rock solid foundation to kickstart your journey, look no further.

After completing AxStrength (Foundation), LIFT seeks to enhance the proficiency of the four main lifts with the use of consistent technical cues and diverse training periods throughout the year. During our weekly training, four days will be focused on singular lifts such as deadlift, shoulder press, squat and bench press.
Fear of failure may be prevalent, however it’s better to have tried, than to never try at all. Muscle fatigue is likely to arise after class, though this should not hinder individuals from engaging in weight-bearing exercises that help to promote and sustain healthy bone density.

Working together in tandem, AxStrength (Strength-Con) and LIFT create synergy to enable individuals to achieve their ultimate fitness goals. Strength-Con’s long-form stands for ‘Strength and Conditioning’ and this approach to health and wellbeing focuses on enhancing muscle stabilisation, increasing endurance, and better preparing both body and mind to cope with day-to-day physical tasks with a minimum of effort.
Although not always straightforward, the hard work involved is rewarded with noticeable and measurable results. By designing each component of the training process to seamlessly combine with the other, LIFT and STRENGTH-CON make it easier than ever for anyone to unlock their full potential.

FIRST TIME?
PREPARATION
Come to class well hydrated and without an empty stomach. As our Strength classes are held in an outdoor training facility, be sure to dress in a comfortable and breathable top with fitness bottoms.
CHECK-IN
Please kindly check-in 10 minutes before class starts.
Proceed up to third floor balcony where the class is located.
Our grace period for late arrival is 5 minutes, we reserve the right to deny entry to anyone.
As the strength classes are held in an outdoor training facility, please ensure to dress light.
GEAR-UP
For safety purposes, covered sport shoes are compulsory. Do remember to bring a filled water bottle, if not, water is available for purchase over the counter
SET-UP
An Instructor will be there to guide you through the entire workout – from the class set-up to equipment handling and posture supervision.
